Buses leave for the start line from 6.30am-6.45am.
Bus journey is approximately 30 minutes

Official race distance 15 miles (24.14 Kilometers). Athletics Ireland Race Permit.

The race will start in just beyond Molls Gap on the Sneem road and continue along the spectacular ring of Kerry road the N71. The dramatic route takes you back towards Killarney Town passing the rugged landscape of the national park and the Lakes of Killarney. The challenging course is varied in its gradients but extremely rewarding. The race will finish in the grounds of the world famous Muckross House.

Buses will transport participants from Muckross House overflow car park to the start line. Finalised car parking details will be emailed to all participants prior to the race.

Following registration online or by post you will receive a conformation e-mail confirming payment of entry fee of €50
Within 1 week of the race you will receive in the post a registration pack containing:
• Detailed race Information event guide
• Maps of the route
• Timing chip
• Details of special offers to hotels and restaurants during the race weekend

Race support stations will be located at 4 locations along the route. At each station there will be water, food, toilets, first aid and entertainment.

Cash prizes for the following categories:

Senior Men: top 6 win cash prizes
Senior Women: top 6 win cash prizes
Masters Men 1st & 2nd cash prizes: over 40’s, 45’s, 50’s
Masters Women 1st & 2nd cash prizes: over 40’s, 45’s, 50’s
Wheelchair category: 1st & 2nd cash prizes

All finishers will get a finisher t-shirt, goodie pack and special edition medal.
The winners in the categories of senior Male and Female will win the perpetual Hugh O’Flaherty memorial trophy..

Finish line photographs will be available at the finish line. There will also be local photographers along the course on the day so watch out for your picture in local and national press

The race will be conducted in accordance with the rules set out by Athletics Ireland.
Additionally, no dogs/pets, cycles, roller blades, prams/buggies, skate-boards or non-registered persons will be allowed to
accompany participants in the race.

The race is open to participants aged 18 on or before the day of the Race
